BackBeat City concept was developed by its founder, Greg Colossale, and has been implemented with outstanding results since 1989. Greg has spent 20 years working on behalf of young people and has raised them up to extraordinary heights. Through the power of music, acting, and conversation, Greg has empowered young people from all walks of life and the globe alike — some from as far west as Chicago to as far east as Siberia. Greg has taught in public schools; performed with other musicians at the top of their game; leads adult choirs; and continues to do so to this day. With more than 5,000 students having been a part of developing this city that is our own, there is definitely a place for all ages, levels, and interests.
