BackBeat City’s Musical Theater cast invites you to their production of “13″. “13” tells the current day story of 13 year old, Evan Goldman as he moves from his perfect life from New York City to a more simple life in Appleton, Indiana where his goal is to have the most successful Bar Mitzvah that Indiana has ever seen. This amusing and touching story will be conveyed through great dance styles and beautiful harmonies, and is suitable for all audiences.
Be prepared to witness impressive cheerleading stunts, a rock-n-roll style, and a love story that will cause the grumpiest audience member to the person next to them and say “Awwww”.
Tickets go on sale the week of 5/1 at BackBeat City and the show will be held at Wethersfield Middle School.

This year’s annual Learn Love performance will be held on June 15th and June 16th at the Middletown Performing Arts Center at Middletown High School. Please join us for a phenomenal musical celebration starring BackBeat and BackLash, our two oldest performing groups. You may have seen them at Mohegan Sun, The Bushnell or at one of the many Glastonbury community events. Our annual Learn Love shows are opportunities for our young performers to sing and dance, but are also meant to convey an important message of acceptance and love for others. Musical selections include hits from Train, Michael Jackson Black Eyed Peas, Sarah Baralles, and Rascall Flatts.
Tickets will be on sale at BackBeat City beginning late May.
