Ashley first fell in love with dance when she started dancing at the age of three. She has studied with many great teachers and choreographers in the Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York area with over 20 years dance experience. She has studied Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Pointe, Modern, Contemporary, Irish Step, Character, and Hip hop. After attending the Hartford Conservatory of Performing Arts and graduating with a degree in Dance Performance and Dance Pedagogy (teaching) in 2004, Ashley has continued to pass on her love of dance through her teaching and completely fell in love with it. “When you teach it’s a great feeling to be able to inspire your students and help them to be better dancers and performers” Ashley has taught Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz and Hip Hop all over Connecticut in dance studios and performing arts centers. Here at Backbeat she teaches Ballet, Tap and Jazz.
