Backbeat city is proud to highlight one of our younger musical people here at our school.
Michael Bruns and his sister Aly have been studying piano and guitar with us and they are moving very quickly towards becoming exceptional musicians. Michael and his family have not only been great supporters Of BackBeat City, but also every member of their family is extremely musical and artistic. We have learned that Michael has relatives who have changed the musical course of the United States. If you’ve ever heard the song “A Pirates Life for me” or the theme song from Davy Crockett, you have been impacted directly by Michael’s great-great Uncle, George Bruns. George Bruns was a good friend and trusted colleague of America’s biggest dreamer, Mr. Walt Disney. We at BackBeat City encourage Michael to take pride in his musical background and to research, study and reproduce the music that his family created. With this push we believe Michael and Aly will have more drive towards achieving their musical accomplishments. As our artist of the month we look forward to watching Michael grow into an accomplished and talented musician. Congratulations Michael you’re on your way!
